In Russia, standards of medical care are approved on the basis of the clinical guidelines and include average frequencies of the provision of procedures, devices, and drugs. In October 2021, two clinical guidelines on several standards of medical care were released.
New clinical guidelines that were published in October 2021 include:
- Inguinal hernia in adults developed by the collaboration of All-Russian public organization "Society of Herniologists" and Russian Society of Surgeons (link)
- Postoperative ventral hernia in adults developed by the collaboration of All-Russian public organization "Society of Herniologists" and Russian Society of Surgeons (link)
