In mid-December 2021, 44 new procedure codes were introduced by the Code Service of the Finnish National Health and Wellbeing Institution (THL). The introduced codes are dedicated to substance abuse, psychological counseling and rehabilitation, palliative care, anesthesia, and sedation. No updates related to medical technologies were introduced.

In mid-December 2021, the Danish Health Data Agency (Sundhedsstyrelsen) published the Health Care Classification System (Sundheds-væsenets Klassifikations System, SKS). The most significant changes include: 41 new diagnosis codes and 21 procedure codes were added. The newly added procedure codes concern mainly spine area and orthopedic procedures.

In September 2021, the Norwegian Directorate for e-Health released the procedure coding system for 2022. A total of 75 new codes were introduced: eight new surgical procedure codes concerning gastroenterology, men's health, obstetrics and gynecology, cardiovascular and surgical procedures, 53 new radiology procedure codes, and 14 new medical procedure codes.

In late September 2021, the Austrian version of the DRG system (LKF) 2022 model with the relevant supplementary documents was published in Austria. The document "Changes and innovations in the 2022 LKF model" (Änderungen und Neuerungen in den LKF-Modellen 2022) summarizes the most significant changes and innovations in the LKF model for inpatient and outpatient care. The newly added procedure codes concern mainly the cardiovascular, E-Health, and gastrointestinal area.

The NHS Digital extended the application period for changes in the OPCS-4 nomenclature of procedure codes, which is updated every three years. The new deadline for change requests is December 01, 2021. The changes shall be implemented in the OPCS-4.10 version from April 01, 2023.

The NHS Digital has opened the application period for changes in the OPCS-4 nomenclature of procedure codes, which is updated every three years. The applications can be submitted via Request Submission Portal not later than October 01, 2021, to be implemented in the OPCS-4.10 version from April 01, 2023.
