Dec 2018

The DRG and Finance Department of the Danish Health Data Protection Agency, typically receive proposals for changes in the grouping, hospitals, clinics, clinical companies and individuals – most often doctors and secretaries.

When a proposal has been processed by the National Board of Health, the proposer receives a written feedback and the proposals made are published on the website of the Health Data Agency with comments and status.

Changes in DRG grouping logic can involve:

  • Grouping of new procedure codes
  • Cancellation / creation of new groups
  • Changes in inconvenience in the existing grouping
