Essential requirements of tender specifications published by the Italian Ministry of Health

The Ministerial Decree of August 10, 2018, published in the Official Gazette no. 253 of October 30, 2018, which contains "The guidance document for the drafting of tender specifications for the acquisition of medical devices", defines the essential requirements to be met in the planning, setting, as well as in the subsequent monitoring phase of the execution of contracts, taking into consideration the technical specificity of the medical device sector.

This document is an operational tool available to institutional parties, the aim of which is to guarantee the nation-wide functionality and homogeneity in the various phases of acquisition of medical devices by the National Health Service.
