Apr 2018

The Federal Joint Committee (G-BA) has published two calls for tenders in the Official Journal of the European Union to select a monitoring and evaluating organization for two studies:

  • Pulmonary artery pressure measurement and monitoring using an implanted sensor to optimize therapy in NYHA Class III heart failure
  • Allogeneic stem cell transplantation for first-line treatment of multiple myeloma

The studies will be executed within the framework of the government-co-sponsored studies under provisions of the paragraph 137e of the German Social Code Book V. Studies should inform decision making about coverage of the methods within statutory health insurance.

In a framework of the tender an independent scientific institution responsible for the monitoring and assessment of the trials will be identified.

The deadline for submission of applications is 15th of May 2018, 14:00.

Details of the content of the call for tenders, the description of procedure and contact details of the responsible persons for this process can be found here.
