The amendments to DRG2019 consisted of proposals postponed from previous years, previous consultation responses, consultation response for DRG2018 tariffs and new incoming proposals for DRG2019. In addition, changes have been implemented as a result of the consultation response that came to DRG2019. Six new DRGs has been added in 2019, including:
- 03PR07 “Replacement of processor in cochleart implant” (Udskiftning af processor i cochleart implantat)
- 03SP07 “Joint package: Exploration and diagnosis of lack of smell and taste” (Sammedagspakke: Udredning og diagnosticering af manglende lugte- og smagssans)
- 12MP01 “Insertion of functional implants in the urinary tract or male genitals” (Indsættelse af funktionelle implantater i urinveje eller mandlige kønsorganer)
- 27MP16 “Special complex chemotherapy, hematology” (Særlig kompleks kemobehandling, hæmatologi)
- 27PR01 “Proton therapy” (Protonterapi)
- 40PR01 “Lymph node treatment” (Lymfeødembehandling)
